People often say they want more confidence or they lack confidence yet many of these people already display amazing confidence in certain areas in their life such as when talking about their hobby or outside of the workplace for example.

A lack of confidence is often dependant on the circumstances, when having to talk to their boss or give a presentation for example. It's not so much that more confidence is needed it's more a lack of anxiety in some situations that's sought.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool for investigating and reframing the origins of a perceived lack of confidence in these situations. Then, we can look at the times you did have confidence and cause these feelings to 'spill over' into other areas of your life. After all, if you can feel confident here then there is no reason why you can't feel comfortable there.

Other people have a more deep seated issue - one of low self esteem. Self esteem is a measure of how good we feel about ourselves as a worthwhile person and a low self esteem can cause people to behave in ways which, later on, looking back, leaves them feeling less than proud of what they did. Hence, the belief that they're not a nice person is reinforced. Nobody should believe they're not a good person. Your behaviour may not be ideal but you are not your behaviour.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help show the client that behaviour can be changed, what they think can be changed, their perception of the world can be changed and that they have a choice.
